What is satellite internet, and what is VSAT?
Where ADSL and 4G are not maintained or improved upon, a satellite link answers to nothing on the ground. No phone line, no physical connection to a source.
VSAT stands for “Very Small Aperture Terminal”. It is a two-way transmit and receive satellite system made of an outdoor unit — a dish ranging from 74cm to 3.8m in diameter — and an indoor unit: the satellite modem your network plugs into.
